What is it used for?
N.B. It should be noted that the Social authentication mode is a unique authentication mode. This means that if a user logs on by using more than a social network, for that user only one account will be generated and their browsing will be subject to timing settings associated with it.
The sub-panel is divided into tabs, one for each social network available, containing specific settings.
There are two tabs:
The settings for the authentication mode via Facebook allow you to activate three functions:
- Facebook Login.
- Google Login (Google e Google+ accounts).
Facebook Login
- Facebook Login.
- Like Request.
- Social Sharing.
Facebook Login
The "Activate Facebook" button allows to enable or disable the authentication mode through this social network.
It should be noted that only by putting this parameter on active you will be able to view the authentication options later on.
Like Request
This function allows to enable or disable the like-gating, that is the request to the user to add mandatorily an "I like" on a Facebook page set by the administrator before you can proceed to the browsing autonomously. Once you set the button on "On", you will be requested the URL of the Facebook page to be associated to the function. Click "Edit" and write down the URL of the page you want to direct users to. Then, click the "Save" button to complete the operation.Social Sharing
The feature allows you to enable or disable the automatic publication of a message preset by the administrator. This message is published as a post on the user wall who uses this social network to authenticate. Setting the "Activate message publication" on "On", you will be asked for the customization of the message itself. Click "Edit" to open the screen containing the text form in which you will compose the message. It should be noted that you can integrate into the text a syntax based on the setting of dynamic words, that is parameters that show automatically name and URL of the location. The feature is useful for the administrators who have to manage multiple locations using a single system panel. To properly use the syntax, you should keep in mind that:- [[location.name]] parameter automatically adds the name of the location in the message, in the exact position where the parameter is.
- [[location.url]] parameter automatically adds the website address of the location in the message, in the exact position where the parameter is.
N.B. There is a default text, which appears automatically on the first attempt to enter custom text. If you wish to reset the text pre-configured by the system, just click "Restore Default" over the form of this entry screen.
